The Red Rose Campaign is a national movement to end gender-based violence.
The Red Rose Campaign takes its name from the original Rose button, created to commemorate the 14 young women who were murdered at l’Ecole Polytechnique December 06, 1989.

True North is so grateful to the REPS from Remax Key for once again volunteering their time to deliver roses to local businesses.

Thank you the REPs group & Remax for collaborating with True North for another year of raising awareness for, and remembering honouring those killed, by domestic violence!
“The Red Rose Campaign is a program that we’ve been involved in for several years now and its to recognize domestic violence. The idea behind the red roses is for the memory of woman, men and children that have died due to domestic violence,” said part owner of the REPs at RE/MAX Key Hayley Poirier.
Local business who are gifted a rose are to display them in memory of the woman, children and men in Alberta who have died from domestic violence. Read more
2022 Red Rose
WCS and The REPS from Remax Key held our Red Rose Campaign on December 6th, 2022 in Strathmore. On this day we head out to deliver roses to businesses in Strathmore. These roses are then displayed in businesses in town to honour the men, women and children lost to domestic violence.
This year our team delivered 140 roses locally!
