The Wheatland Crisis Society (WCS) raises $24,000 at The Annual Harvest Masquerade Gala.
“The evening was attended by 260 guests who were entertained during dinner by the Peterson Family, Indigenous dancers, and an improv show from Push Button, along with Grant Klaiber, who was thrilled to be back behind the microphone after a couple of years away to be the auctioneer for the live auction portion of the evening, while the evening was wrapped up with a performance by the Locals.” Natalie Johnstone Strathmore Now
The amount of support that came through for this event was overwhelming. We weren’t too sure, post-Covid, how many people would attend the gala and what kind of night it would be, but we were utterly shocked at the amount of support from our community! WCS raised an estimated $24,000 to help provide assistance to those affected by domestic violence!
Next year will be our 30th Anniversary, and we hope to bring back the annual event!
